March 7, 201115 yr I love the dust and dirt they put on the gauges and windows. And the best part is that you can toggle them on/off, so if I don't feel like having my flight deck being a mess, I can "clean" it....looking at you PMDG. Going to get the RealityXP GNS 530 to compliment it. Does anyone have a good reference that would teach some turboprop basics? Cheers, Scott Ball
March 7, 201115 yr Commercial Member I bought this one today - very well done. Going to get the RealityXP GNS 530 to compliment it. Does anyone have a good reference that would teach some turboprop basics? The Turbine Duke and our J41 are the two best turboprops for FSX, but they're very different engines - the Duke has Pratt & Whitney PT6 free-shaft engines, and the J41's are the geared Garrett engines. Nothing else you could really get as far as turboprops besides these that are actually realistic. The Duke manual has quite a bit of explanation on how to operate the PT6s. If you still have FS9 installed, the Aeroworx B200 can't be beat there. (funny, a certain creator of that airplane was one of the main programmers on the J41 ) Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
