Is it possible to change the default panel state to start cold and dark?

I'm not sure if I've seen a definitive answer to this yet. Thanks in advanceChris Hicks

Since you shouldn't be using a pmdg aircraft as a default aircraft in MSFS, it's just as easy to select and load a saved flight as the original 'default' flight. Each saved flight will include a panel state. Hope it helps.

Load the MD-11, wait for initialization, press ALT, select PMDG -> Load Panel State and select the state you need.It will take you 2 minutes. I think there isn't a way to load the plane with a specific panel state, it will always load in "ready to go" state.Cheers,

Thanks,It wasnt a matter of how much time it was consuming, it was the matter of ruining immersiveness the cockpit acceptance when I get in the cockpit and have the plane start up on me in a ready to go config, then have to be shut back down and/or having to set a new panel state. I'll try the saved flight approach then set my date and time from within it.Chris Hicks
