Spot View Altitude

Featured Replies

Hi, is there a way to default the spot view in FS9 to an altitude of 7 instead of having it move around to different numbers when choosing different planes? I like 7 since its a good angle (not too high and not too low). Thanks

That parameter is saved in the .flt files located in ...XPpath...\My Documents\Flight Simulator Files which are editable with Notepad. All flights started at the Create a Flight screen will use the value in your default flight. If you start your flights from saved flights they may each have a different value. You can set the value in the sim and save the flight or edit the .flt file. The parameter to edit is...SpotAltitude=+000003...located in the [Window.1] section.regards,Joe
