April 11, 201115 yr Hi allI have searched for a response, but not discovered much other than that this is a known problem and that it is grpahics driver related (although may not be in my case?)My specs are as per my signature (i7-930, ATI HD5770, Win7 64). I have an issue with the FSX menu bar and drop-down menus becoming corrupted. It seems to start off ok (especially with FSX stock planes), but when I have loaded say the PMDG 744 or LDS 767, the menus become almost unreadable with fuzzy greying all over the text (one person referred to it as looking like a barcode). Repeatedly opening and closing the menus sometimes yields more readable results but the issue is always there. I have the latest ATI CCC and drivers, and have tried several versions.Does anyone know what causes this issue, whether it is Third Party aircraft related, and whether or not there is a fix? My old system (E8600, nVidia 6800GTS) did not have this issue so I wondered if it was ATI related. I have the FSX.cfg tweaks applied as per *******' wonderful tool. Thanks allRegardsRob Rob BatesSimming since the age of 10 with MSFS 5.0 P3D v5.0 | 10700K (@stock) | EVGA GTX1080Ti SC2 | Z490-E ROG STRIX | 32GB 3600MHz | 970 EVO Plus M.2 & EVO 850 SSDs | H115i cooling | NZXT H440 Case | Samsung 32" CJG 1440p Curved Monitor | Virtual-Fly Ruddo & TQ3+ | Thrustmaster FCS Sidestick | Skalarki MCDU Ask me about (my most flown): FSLabs A320-X series | MaddogXIn the hangar: Majestic Q400 Pro | PMDG 747 | A2A C182, Cherokee, Comanche & Spitfire

April 11, 201115 yr Author HI Rob check your CCC settings and move the Mipmap detail level slider to the right ie from performance to quality.( high quality )BobBob - very much appreciate the quick response. Very kind of you to take the time. I shall give this a go this evening when I get home, and shall feedback on the results! Also - does anyone have a view these days as to whether it is better to set AA and AF in CCC or within FSX? Seems that if you apply the bufferpools mod, then there is some debate as to which is best. Wish I could sort out the poor FPS in cloudy skies that is caused by ATI's AA, even with ShaderMod 3.0 installed.CheersRob Rob BatesSimming since the age of 10 with MSFS 5.0 P3D v5.0 | 10700K (@stock) | EVGA GTX1080Ti SC2 | Z490-E ROG STRIX | 32GB 3600MHz | 970 EVO Plus M.2 & EVO 850 SSDs | H115i cooling | NZXT H440 Case | Samsung 32" CJG 1440p Curved Monitor | Virtual-Fly Ruddo & TQ3+ | Thrustmaster FCS Sidestick | Skalarki MCDU Ask me about (my most flown): FSLabs A320-X series | MaddogXIn the hangar: Majestic Q400 Pro | PMDG 747 | A2A C182, Cherokee, Comanche & Spitfire
