April 11, 201115 yr After Malta, I'm now facing with some other decisions on airports which are made from different developers.-Schiphol EHAM from Cloud9 and Aerosoft (Amsterdam X). I know Cloud9 is kinda old comparing to Aerosoft but I'm wondering about Aerosoft's FPS.-Guarulhos SBGR from LatinVFR and TropicalSim.-Geneva LSGG from FSDreamteam and DesignStudio-Zurich LSZH from FSDreamteam and FreeZ.Since my system isn't that good, FPS is my highest priority :biggrin:Thanks! April 12, 201115 yr Sadly I think any very detailed airports are going to lag your sim. It tends to be detail such as fences, light standards, lots of vehicles & standing aircraft and good texturing that both make the airport look good and stress the computer's CPU.I'd be interested myself though if anyone can come up with ones that give the least lag for the greatest eye-candy.

April 12, 201115 yr I'm very happy with the FreeZ Zurich, no probs, great freeware. Aerosoft's EHAM is, in my opinion, their least professional offering. It still has issues and there doesn't seem to be much of an effort being made to deal with them. At least that's what I tend to feel from following the discussion in their support forum. I'm happy to be proved wrong if I've missed something here. Just to balance though, I own quite a few Aerosoft products and am very happy with them.As an aside, do try Latin VFR's Sucre SLSU. Tricky approach and a good attempt at a sloping runway. Great fun :( Gavin Barbara Over 10 years here and AVSIM is still my favourite FS site :-)
