April 15, 201115 yr Finally did itAfter fiddling with the hardware since the start of FSX at the end of 2006 I now have the right hardware to run it.Although I collected myself 2 years ago a i5/750 with a GTX275 I was not happy and stayed with FS9 (still very good) but I wanted to make the step to 3D so I decided to make the next step and YES, AWESOME...I have to following hardware,MSI P67A-C45i7-2600K running via OC Genie from MSI on 4200 MhzMSI GTX580 Lightning (standard factory OC)8 Gb Patriot 9-9-9-24VeliRaptor 300Gb exclusive for Win7/64 and FSXNvidia 3D VisionLG W2363D 120 hz monitor for 3DCoolIT ALC CPU watercooling (TIP: very good and cheap, easy to install Temp idle 30 degree Celsius Stressed in FSX 55 degree Celsius, No Noise at all)Flying most of the time on VATSIM with the Level-D 767 and waiting now for the FSX iFly 737 (already have for FS9)REX Extreme HD, UT-Europe, and lots of European Aerosoft airports.As a testflight I made my favorite 767 landing on RW 08 (circle to land) in Innsbruck Austria LOWI with dence cloud cover over the Alps and +30 FPS easy and smooth as silkUsing Nvidia Inspector now with AA 8S and AF 16 and Bojotes fsx.cfg mods In real life I'm flying the Diamond Katana and Dynamic WT9 (just launched by Lionheart for FS9 and FSX) and the 3D Vision experience is awesome and close to reality...Happy landings...
