April 16, 201115 yr Commercial Member Can you not simply position the cursor over the throttle lever (gauge) and roll the wheel? This works with most gauges from what I've seen, it's particularly handy for elevator trim or adjusting radio frequencies, but I have seen cases with certain gauges where it doesn't work. I use the mousewheel for manipulating almost everything in the cockpit. It's usually a matter of placing the cursor over the gauge's hot spot and rolling the wheel one way or the other.Jim
April 16, 201115 yr Have you tried creating a 'mouse-macro' using FSUIPC? That may work if just scrolling the mouse wheel as previously mentioned doesn't. I haven't tried it since I have TQ's in my setup.Jim D.
April 17, 201115 yr Author Thanks for your suggestion.Unfortunately, scrolling doesn't seem to work with the mouse over various palces on and around the throttle. The mouse macro feature on FSUIPC after a bit of research seems to be just for buttons and not a scroll axis as such. Any other ideas? Legend of the Skies: Virtual Aerobatics (www.legend-aerobatics.co.nr)
April 17, 201115 yr Commercial Member What aircraft are you using? Can you add a throttle gauge from one of the default aircraft that the mousewheel will work on?JimEDIT: One issue you'll have with using the wheel on the throttle is that it's position will be fighting with the joystick. It'll work, but you'll bump the joystick at some point and all of the sudden the throttle will assume the position of the joystick throttle and you'll have to readjust anyway. I actually very rarely use the mousewheel on the throttle, I use it on everything else though.

April 17, 201115 yr Commercial Member I see, you'd probably need something specially coded by a gauge programmer for that.Jim
