  1. Hi Guys, Vadriver: I only tested the FS9 version. I was under the impression that someone else was reviewing the FSX Version but i am not too sure about what happened to that or if i misunderstood everything. Mine was a full install Evo but to what i've heard, the patch and the full install gives you the same thing at the end of the day. nam1394: Thanks for the fix. I'll try it. It got very annoying with that problem as i was in Intermediate mode and not in Expert. To all the other guys out there, i know there are a fair few Airbus addons but Wilco is the only one i've flown to date. I've tried to be as factual as possible while writing the review.
  2. Thats making too much trouble to others. It's fine if theres no answer for it, i'll just need to be less lazy but thanks for your support thus far gentlemen.
  3. Flying Wilco A320. No default aircraft have detents.
  4. Thanks for your suggestion.Unfortunately, scrolling doesn't seem to work with the mouse over various palces on and around the throttle. The mouse macro feature on FSUIPC after a bit of research seems to be just for buttons and not a scroll axis as such. Any other ideas?
  5. Hi All,Does anybody know of anyway to make it so that we can use the mouse scroll wheel as the throttle? Why am i asking ... i'll explain once i find a solution If anyone does know, it'd be awesome so please reply.ThanksArjun
  6. Thanks kiwiflyer45,Such a perspective never struck me while writing the review. Will widen my thoughts to incorporate this aspect for next time.Regards
  7. Hi,I have XP. I think the formatting maybe slightly different as pointed out by the email i sent to the developers. Trying to see what happens and will play around with it.Arjun
  8. I just had a small error with the iFly. When i put in the PMDG Nav DATA Airace into the iFly 747, there is a small error. This is mainly to do with the Runways in the Routes page. No matter what runway you enter, even if it is the correct one, it says that the runway doesn't exist. The other error is while putting Nav Aids into the Routes section. IT says that the NavAid isn't in the database while its still in the Nav Aids folder. The confusing part is that the original AIRAC that came with the iFly (0511) and the current AIRAC Data (0913) have the same format of information.Any help appreciated.
  9. Same problem with me.Any help appreciated.Arjun
  10. Also make sure you installed the updates

Thanks Guys,I realised that the glases i use, i think, uses a different technology and not the red/blue lenses. You can't notice an obvious colour difference. Now looks like time to search for some red/blue glasses hehe.ThanksArjun

Hi All,I have a spare set of 3D glassess that i got from the movies and i was thinking if anyone knewn of a demo version that turned FSX's 3D cockpit to ACTUAL 3D. Might even buy it if its good.ThanksArjun
  13. Hello All,I made a repaint for the iFLY 747-400 on FSX and i'm having a few problems with it. Ever since i made it, i have been getting errors. I got a runtime error which i don't see anymore. I have recently gotten an error where FSX just freezes and gets a CTD. Most things were fine before i uploaded this repaint but i managed to get some long haul flights in. But every once in a while, its been freezing from when i made this Repaint. When i tried to upload it onto AVSIM, it detected a virus but i didn't add anythign new. I ran it with my virus scanner and it was ok with no problems.Any ideas on what went wrong??Thanks
  14. Hey blueknight,It will be best to read the manuals and the 'readme.txt' that you get while you download the freeware programs.Arjun
  15. Never had the automatic pitch problem except for once or twice. Chekc your fuel loads. you may have been tail heavy. My autolands don't seem to get enough -FPM so i end up manually doing itNever had the finals problem before.Because of the PERF INIT not being that realistic, the REF Speeds aren't that accureate (or that could be just me)
  16. Look in your iFLY folder either under All Programs or your FS Directory
  17. Age doesn't matter. It's the passion.(and ofcourse the way you write)

Hey,Try putting in the waypoints individually from each NATS WPT. That may work. also, if you can find the LAT/LONG of it, that will probably be the second best.To turn the data from FS9 - IFLY, you can use a payware program called FSCommander. Load up the FS9 flight plan and save it as the IFLY format. Arjun

Hey,It's not a problem in the airplane. It works fine for me on FSX.Arjun
  20. Hey,Try putting in your dep and dest airports and then in the CO route just simply put in rctpkjfk. Just the 8 letters should be sufficient to bring up the route. THen activate and EXEC.Arjun
  21. Hello lensman,In FSX, what you do is to press the CTRL + Backspace, CTRL+ENTER(or Return), SHIFT+Backspace, SHIFT+ENTER, and CTRL+SHIFT+Backspace and CTRL+SHIFT+ENTER to move in all dimensions. If you keep going backwards far enough, you can see all the cabin details.Arjun
  22. Edgar,Thanks for your reply. When i make Reviews, i normally put in every process there is to do with the Installation. I just like to show the full basics of installation as well. I take a picture of every single step in the Installation process. It may not be necessary but it is good to give an explanation to a problem if they are confused and have never installed a product before.Instead of replacing the Installation pictures and having more pictures of the helicopter, i think it is bettre to keep the Installation pictures AND add more Pictures of the product. Thanks for your reply and i will keep all that in mind. I will add more pictures to Reviews making it better. As you may know i just started off and highly appreciate feedback.ThanksArjun

Hello All,Thanks for your replies. I was not too sure with the LOC and GS capture as i normally hand fly the final approach (i like to hand fly the aircraft. It's more entertaining). I have never tried the auto land because i have NO idea how Auto Land works on any aircraft. A bit weird seeing i fly the 747. As Mentioned in the Review, the iFLY is an aircraft that EVERY person that doesn't want to pay should download. The ground doesn't matter that much, true. Also, this is the first Review i have written and that has been published. THis is also the Review that determined if i was going to be an AVSIM Reviewer or not and it turned out that they Accepted me.ThanksArjun
