CH Yoke with Saitek throttles

Featured Replies

Hi allI have successfully been using the entire Saitek yoke, throttle, pane and rudderl suite for almost two years now. They are great. But the Saitek yoke itself is just too harsh and springy and unrealistic on the centering action.So.....i have been thinking about purchasing a CH Products yoke as a replacement. The probelm is that i will also need to purchase another throttle quadrant as the saitek quarant which comes with the yoke is not USB (Saitek were clever here). Questions: 1. Is anyone using this type of alternative set-up ? If so, have you experienced any issues?2. What are your views on the CH Yoke compared to the Saitek yoke?Thankserich

Hi Erich,I use a CH Yoke and 2 Saitek throttle quadrants (as well as a few of their panels) and everything works fine for me.I can't comment on your second question, as I haven't used the Saitek yoke, so have no honest basis for comparison.Hope this helps a bit. :)-George

Don't know about Saitek, but have been very happy with my CH USB Yoke/ThrottleQ/Rudder Pedals combo for years.Cheers,- jahman.

George's TQ's would be the sold-separately-and-come-with-usb (and not the PS2 plug)?! So, you may face the purchase of a new TQ.Bjorn
