Well, the very first thing might be thisPinned HARDWARE RELATED THREADS IMPORTANT - MUST READ !!!!!!!!!You can find this just one thread above your current one. Since the NGX might deliver some items to read just be happy about the opportunity to practise this skill. :smile:Second thing might be the fact, that some mod will move your thread then and the third? I never ever saw a post mentioning thoughts about the NGX and a hardware upgrade, therefore a completely new idea in these forums and I'm really exited about the outcome. (kidding a bit, sorry, but since there is a dedicated hardware forum, you will already find enough answers I think)Last item, since the NGX isn't there and since all performance related items regarding her are pure speculations, one really can't say much about the hardware needs. Maybe you want to take a look at the already available J41 from PMDG to catch an impression. If your system can run her, the NGX may not harm it in any way, if we follow the descriptions made my the PMDG people. But, once again and hopefully not too rude sounding: the knowledge and threads are already there since one "new" what hardware will I need thingy comes up every three days or so. Apologies for my cynical tone though. :(

JoeYou can see my system is pretty basic, but with the way I have my sliders it copes with other complex aircraft very well, and I'm hoping the same will apply to the new 737. For example, usually I don't bother with autogen, which helps a lot. Why not try that? Best bet might be to see how it runs on your system and go from there. And PMDG have said their new Boeing will be well 'optimised', so it may run as well or even better than the MD-11. Anyway, the proof will be in the eating, but I really can't see it being a major resource hog.Ian

Don't worry, Joe, nobody was harmed. I just took a look at your postcount and wondered why a not new member doesn't use some information which is already there. The hardware forums might really help you and are just a click away.Concerning the Autogen, it's a slider in the FSX options and does indeed influence a lot. A great help for setting up all kind of systems can be found in this thread by the way, maybe it helps your current setup while you are waiting for the NGX to get at least to the beta state. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/318918-automated-tweaking-and-tuning-tool-for-fsx
