PMDG MD11X-FS2Crew re-installation problem

I have to reinstall PMDG MD11X .Installation completed without any problem. But,when I tried, several times to install Fs2Crew, I was getting black screen for Fs2Crew control panels.I also noticed , FSX opened without, Fs2Crew "gauges" mini installation screens. :( Will you please advise. :( Thanks

Hi Ahmet,Try deleting your FSX.CFG file.It will auto re-build when you load FSX.Assuming FS2Crew installed correctly, you shouldn't have any problems.Best,

Bryan,It took me long time to replaced FSX.CFG file. I have "Bojote's fsx.cfg file" which it solved many graphic problems and boost my FSX performance dramatically. Many changes done in regular FSX.Cfg files. I think I managed removed and uploaded the Bojote's fsx.cfg file.I also deleted Fs2Crew and PMDG MDX from my PC. This morning I received new MD-11X download link.I am going to start all over again.Before I download Fs2Crew from your web page, will you please verify "Assuming FS2Crew installed correctly, you shouldn't have any problems."what I suppose to look to ensure correct installation. I download and followup your Fs2Crew loading screen instruction and after I received "Installation Completed screen" I go and open FSX.Is there any other installation process besides downloading screens, I should check it?

Hi Ahmet,Not really, general procedure is this:1. Install MD11 and apply any service updates.2. Do test flight to ensure it's working properly.3. If okay, install FS2Crew.4. Install all FS2Crew updates.That's all you should need to do.Cheers,Bryan

Try loading the Cessna first, then load the MD11.Confirm you deleted the FSX.CFG file.Sometimes a user will accidentally click "no" on the "trust this gauge" prompt.

1-Yes, I deleted Fsx.Cfg file.2-Problem now extended to 747X and 747X-8. 3-I un-installed Fs2Crew.4-747X/8 OK with out Fs2Crew.5-I reinstalled Fs2Crew 6- But after 10-2o second of installations 747x and 8 lost CDU lights .Now their screens are dark.7- I unintalled 747X/8 and Fs2Crews. 8-I reinstalled FSX Acceleration in "Repair" mode. 9-I loaded C-172 first,then loaded 747x and 8. No more CDU black screen, Same with 747X-8.10-MD-11 is also OK with out Fs2Crew11-Now, I have to install all Fs2Crews to 747X/747X-8 and MD-11X12- :( :( I will inform

There is a major problem with Fs2Crew installation. Step by step I reistalled Md11X-Fs2crew. I started FSX. As sson as I selected Md-11X. FSX CRASHED . Is it possible your download file,has a Problem? IT is really upsetting. It took my two days, :( :(

IT took me two days, finally I found the problem. Ater all options were exhausted . Two possibilities were remaining,either Fs2Crew Web page MD-11X Fs2Crew download file corrupted or Update Download file. I uninstalled Fs2Crew update file from FSX,MD11x and Fs2Crew started. :( B) B) Now I will start to work on 747X and 747X-8 Fs2Crews.

Hi Ahmet,Generally it's the same procedure as with all other FS2Crew.Install base PMDG product with all updates.Do a test flight.If okay, install FS2Crew and apply all updates.To ensure everything goes smooth, it's very helpful to be in an Admin account and to shut off fully UAC.

1- UTC OFF. Uninstalled 747X and Fs2Crew2-Installed 747X and 747X8 and Fs2Crew voice3- I opened Fs2Crew 747-8 update and copy Panel.cfg and Panel.VC cfg4-Paste to 747x-400 2DPanel and VCPanel file4- I started FSX and selected 747-400X NO Fs2Crew Voice available5- I also checked 747-8X NO Fs2Crew Voice availableDo I suppose to installed first 747X Fs2Crew button version?

Bryan,I really fill bad about it. IF I READ THE MANUAL,and lower the UTC, all was going well according installation manual without problems. :( :( :( There was nothing wrong with Fs2Crew installation process. B)

Glad you got it solved!Indeed most install problems are related to not having UAC disabled or not running as Admin.Cheers,
