November 27, 200322 yr That's where they would be.I have removed the version of Control Manager as it MAY have been causing me problems and I do not need to use it with FS8, FS9. Between the sensitivities and mapping available in FS, W98SE gaming options, and the fully registered FSUIPC, I have not required its use.

November 28, 200322 yr You've got to make sure you are correctly assigning the axis from the real control to the virtual control and use the right mode, usually the default. After fuzzing with CH CM, you then go into FS 9 assignments and reassign your axes accordingly with CM running since it actally sits between the MS drivers and FS 9. Make sure CM is running before FS starts up. They provide a utility that starts CM with the named file you chose for the start-up assignments (map file) within CM. If you do not use that utility, then you will have to open your config file in CM each time you start it and then activate it.Yes, it is confusing.
November 30, 200322 yr It is not necessary to have control manager running. All I use control manager for is to install the driver, after that I never touch it again. You have to go into the control setup in FS and tell it which axis does what.
