April 19, 201115 yr I'm looking for a payware replacement for the default King Air. The default's VC textures and exterior textures are just horrid. It doesn't have to be exactly the same aircraft, but something similar in size - twin-turboprop, with a high horizontal stabilizer (like the Beech Super King air's and crj's, not like the PMDG J41).For example the PMDG Beech 1900D, but that is only for fs9. Anyone recommend any solid addons similar of that nature? THanks!
April 19, 201115 yr Carenado is coming out with a King Air C90 in the next while. That would fit nicely into that slot.CARENADO WEBSITEThere are also the Real Air Dukes, the Carenado 340 and Baron as well, which are already here, although they are all smaller.Kind regards,

The c90 and C340 are very similar in size. The Baron and C340 are also twin-piston aircraft.
April 19, 201115 yr And that's why you need the Duke Turbine (it doesn't have T tail but who cares!):http://realairsimulations.com/duket10/intro.php?page=duket10_introIf you have extra cash to spare better get the Reality XP GNS to go with it:http://realairsimulations.com/content1.php?page=duket10_rxphttp://www.reality-xp.com/flightsim/gns530/index.htmlI agree, we need a quality B350... but for now we'll have to stick with the smaller stuff. Should be interesting to see what Carenado comes up with! | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
April 19, 201115 yr Author None of the above still are not King Airs. Distance payloads etc! Be nice to see a "real" good King air.I have the Duke turbine. Though extremely nice, its not a King air!Yea.. seems like its the only default prop yet to be replaced by payware.C172 - Carenado and Flight1C208 - Carenadomooney - CarenadoB58 - Carenado Piper cub - A2A SimsEtc.

April 19, 201115 yr Thanks! I will look into that.There's some help over the unofficial Aeroworx forums:http://sdmaus.com/kingair/index.php/topic,47.0.htmlAlso a post I made at simforums a while back with my struggles:http://www.simforums.com/forums/b200-in-fsx_topic34574.html | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

April 19, 201115 yr I don't know the official status. They were at one time working on a king air 200... then they said it went to the back burner for other important (ie Cessna-related) products. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
