  1. Great update! Now I want a flight planner next
  2. 1. Well I don't have much time to fly very often, so investing in a new joystick wouldn't make sense. I hope an autorudder feature is added. 2. It's the Intel HD3000 chipset. It is an onboard (non-discrete) card, but Flight runs pretty well on medium settings with the thing (30-40fps).
  3. Hello, I just started playing Flight, and I've enjoyed flying the small props VFR in FSX in the past. I have a couple concerns about Flight: 1. Rudder Control. In FSX, there was autorudder, where you could use the aileron axis on your joystick to control the rudder (for taxiing). Now, in Flight, there's no autorudder, so I can't turn while taxiing on the ground anymore (my joystick doesn't twist). I have to use the "mouse control mode", which, apparently, the left-right axis for ailerons controls the rudder as well. Controlling the rudder with keyboard just stinks, as many may know. Is there any workaround to have my joystick axis control BOTH aileron and rudder? Thanks. 2. Flickering runways. This occurs on the concrete and asphalt runways at the larger fields (Hilo Intl, etc). My graphics drivers are updated - is this a known issue/fix available? Also, I'm praying that Microsoft will release some better general aviation aircraft (WITH VC, PLEASE) like the Baron58, C172, or Beech Bonanza or something. We have enough warplanes. Thanks all!
  4. Okay. Good to know.
  5. Thank you! One last thing - i heard FLIGHT1 is working on their fsx B200, and there are screenshots somewhere? Would you happen to know? I may wait for the release to buy.
  6. Thanks! I will look into that.
  7. I mentioned it doesn't have to be a king air, I'm just looking for a prop of similar size.
  8. Yea.. seems like its the only default prop yet to be replaced by payware.C172 - Carenado and Flight1C208 - Carenadomooney - CarenadoB58 - Carenado Piper cub - A2A SimsEtc.
  9. Thanks for your reply./I have looked at all the carenado planes, and I have no idea why the dev team would choose the c90 over the 350. The c90 and C340 are very similar in size. The Baron and C340 are also twin-piston aircraft.
  10. I'm looking for a payware replacement for the default King Air. The default's VC textures and exterior textures are just horrid. It doesn't have to be exactly the same aircraft, but something similar in size - twin-turboprop, with a high horizontal stabilizer (like the Beech Super King air's and crj's, not like the PMDG J41).For example the PMDG Beech 1900D, but that is only for fs9. Anyone recommend any solid addons similar of that nature? THanks!
  11. However it seems when flying seaplanes, you are unable to turn the airplane while taxing in water.
  12. Does anyone exactly understand how the autorudder works? Like move joystick left = ailerons left + rudder left?
  13. I have a Logitech Attack 3 Joystick, which don't have a twist-axis for rudder. I also don't have rudder pedals - and dont want to invest in some, they are IMO expensive for what you get.To my knowledge, rudder control is quite crucial for steering while taxiing, especially with seaplanes in water (water rudder). Is there any way to effectively control the rudder with your keyboard or something without extra hardware? The default keyboard controls are a pain - they yaw the rudder, but after your control input you must press the keys again and again to recenter the rudder. What I am hoping for, is a way to control the rudder such that, when I press the key for "left rudder", the rudder will yaw left say 50%, and then recenter itself after I release the key. Is this possible? Thanks.
  14. If you check "enable changes in mission" on the mission selection page I believe you can use the in-game menu to select a different aircraft.
