Captain:zulu

Featured Replies

I have a trouble that even I did not make any sound but the captain was repeated 'zulu' again and again...I have the "pronunciation sensitivity" set to the lowest.Others have the same problem? In addition, every time I say 'on' or 'armed', it is always detected as 'tons'! Maybe this is my own pronunciation problems.:( Thanks a lot.(Sorry for my poor English)

Hi Wei,As mentioned, in the next update I'm changing 'zulu' to use 'zulu time'.That should cut down the likelihood of your false recognition. As for 'on' or 'armed', probably your accent, but I'll see if I can make the phrase "longer" somehow.False recognition seems to occur most frequently with 'short' words, and it seems to occur more often in XP than Win7/Vista.Best,

Hi Bryan,Thanks for your reply.

Maybe you could try putting "It's" in front. "It's on" "It's off" "It's armed" etc. Two syllable words definitely seem to be better recognised.Cheers,Richard.
