April 26, 201115 yr I am trying to find the font for the Aer Lingus A320 Retro-Jet, have searched numerous font sites and have spent no less than 5 hours looking for a font to match what is on aircraft #3 with the registration EI-DEG"AER LINGUS IRISH INTERNATIONAL"If all else fails guess I will have to figure out how to create the font myself. Thanks,Robert \Robert Hamlich/

April 28, 201115 yr I am sorry to say.The truth however is completely different i.m.h.o.The Novarese BK BT font has very little to do with Aer Lingus , I am afraid.
April 28, 201115 yr Author I found the Univers font which is the closest to date although it does not have the serifs to the left, I think those were added to the font when the logo was first used back in the 50's. I figure that I have spent about 15 hours total looking for the font and that has been slowing me down the most, aside from working with the Wilco A320 paint kit.All I need to do to finish the font is to add the serifs on the left side of some of the letters and then it will be time to finish the repaint. \Robert Hamlich/
May 4, 201115 yr I am sorry to say.The truth however is completely different i.m.h.o.The Novarese BK BT font has very little to do with Aer Lingus , I am afraid. Thanks for the correction Leen, You sure can't argue with evidence like that . I been looking around since, and the closest font that I've come across is a modified Schindler Book.I'm open to correctional as always.

May 7, 201115 yr Author Great paint !!!LeenThanks Leen, took a while to find a font that was close enough. I hand drew the tail logo, re drew the engine details and added some detail that is not available on the Wilco paintkit. It was a great deal of fun and I learned quite a bit as time went on.Liveries are ready for download:FS9FSXGoing to try and figure out the Aerosoft X paintkit and see how it looks. \Robert Hamlich/
