It's all about tweaking ;)I've almost the same system and i'm running the MD11 at Mega Airport Frankfurt in FSX with constant 28 fps... and it still looks good.,. not perfect but enough for having fun... but what i'm gonna do is an upgrade to windows 7 64 bit. Thats "cheap" and gives you the full ram. With 32 bit you only run 3,5.. But the best thing would be a new system with one of the new i5 or i7 CPU and 4-8 GB ddr3 and a nvidia graphic card :) With 600-800$ you should get a good system. I don't have that money at the time so i've to run my old system :)

To the forum administrators in case you're reading it: sry for switching to german but it was easier to explain what i wanted to add ;)

Google Translate my friend:Okay for a short German:)I've got an ATI themselves but have read that NVIDIA will be betterfor the Flusi ... no idea what is tuned. What helped me was the Flusifix ... has brought me ~ 15 fps:) and especially at the scenery autogen and scenery complexity settings ät it to the left ... are minimum 10 fps:)

what is the difference between 15-30fps? I don`t see the difference. Mine runs on 8-10 and still looks realisticJoe Barton

wow... 8-10???i'm getting around 30-35 when approaching with the MD11 into standart scenery airports like boston and my system is not good:intel core 2 duo 2*2,93 GHz4Gb DDR2-Ram (only 3.5 used --> windows 7 32 bit)ati radeon 4850 HDsettings configured between mid to high... The difference is the smoothness. With 10 fps it will always stumble a bit... movies are made with 24 fps because thats what the human eye takes as "fluent" but it's important that your frames don't jumpe from 30 to 45 and back because that gives you the impression of stuttering. but if you are lucky, then it should be okay, shouldn't it???
