So, I've noticed there is no downtown area in this scenery, otherwise know as "the old strip" (I'm from Las Vegas, and never heard it call that, but for the clarity's sake, anyway) to tourists. That's a bummer, I have a feeling I've lost $17.95. So this is a beware to those who might want to purchase, there is a large portion of my city missing in the scenery. That's a shame because we actually use land marks from down town for VFR pilots. The El Cortez being one if them.

Yes, I was pretty disappointed when I discovered that. It is honestly not one of my favorite purchases. I had freeware running just fine.The night textures cause a slow down on my system and I have to run with the limited 3d buildings.

I use MegaSceneryX Las Vegas. Has both day and night texturing with no impact. Yes the strip buildings aren't up to date and I also doesn't include downtown, but it works well with FSDT McCarran.

My Mom actually worked at the El Cortez for many many years, downtown has always been her favorite part of LV.Anyway, along with missing downtown, all of my FSDT buildings disappeared after install as well.

Thank you, thank you. I've been looking for more realistic KLAS and you have found it! Much appreciated. I like it a lot. Now I wish they would update those show marques that headline Danny Gans and George Carlin. I'd love to see them perform, but alas, they are not of this earth anymore.Stan
