June 9, 201114 yr Author JulianThe UpdatedByVersion agrees now. Thanks for the link. My history is still different but I guess that is to be expected. I noticed that in FSUIPC.ini the TurbulanceRate and TurbulenceDivisor are the default values and in FSX.cfg the TurbulanceScale is the default value. I have changed all three to agree with the changes as detailed by the ASE documentation. I will need to change these back to default. My cloud draw distance is at 12. I think I will leave it at 12. If it is at 8 with a flight is at higher altitudes I can see the end of the clouds but I never reach the end. When I see the end of the clouds I like to reach it and not continuely have it on the horizon. I like the end of the clouds to be a real end. What do you think?Michael Cubine Michael Cubine
June 9, 201114 yr Author JulianI have made the changes to FSUIPC.ini with the exception of cirrus clouds and I changed FSX.cfg with the exception of draw distance. It looks like these settings are intended to cope with S turns in the PMDG 744 and MD-11. How will the changes affect planes like CS which are not so sensentive to turbulence? I will make some flights and let you know how it turns out.Michael Cubine Michael Cubine
