Coding it with 64b in mind is a design decision. If they compile it for both 32 & 64 bits but it's designed to use large amount of memory it will OOM in 32b environments. So if they design it with 32b limitations in mind, why compile it for 64b if it's not going to take advantage of it anyway?I certainly hope they don't dumb it down and go full 64b
