May 22, 201115 yr Many thanks for the AAM links, mgh. I think you're right - at first glance it looks to be very comprehensive, and will take some study effort (I'm not too quick). You'll find the two variables in Record 1101. Just expand it in the left-hand pane (click on the + sign) and scroll down. Gerry Howard

May 24, 201115 yr Author OlyRDid you happen to ask Bob Church about the problem? This is quite an interesting discussion: http://forum.avsim.n...lipping-in-fsx/It might be worth trying the procedure with a realair plane! :( RegardsPeterHPeterH:I heard from Bob Church yesterday. He sent me a very comprehensive explanation of the calibration process, which included a step-by-step fail-safe calibration procedure. He thought that the lack of sufficient rudder might be caused by FSX resetting defaults, which can happen under certain conditions. This would result in reduced sensitivity. Following Bob's procedures, I recalibrated everything and made sure that a "reset to defaults" had not occurred. Unfortunately, this did not fix the problem. Bob's reply was very helpful and clearly written. I have asked him if it would be OK to post his email to me under this topic.I forgot the thank you for pointing me to link to the other forum topic on slipping. I had been following it.OlyRick
