MD11 Textures

Featured Replies

I have downloaded from AVSIM the following MD11 textures (FS2004) UPS, Lufthansa Cargo and BAW. I have followed the instructions to the letter, but when starting up the FS, selecting MD11F GE or PW all I could get was the dafault PMDG livery. After this I tried various methods of installation like copy textures across to the MD11F files, unzip etc., but the results were always the same. I checked and double checked whether the aircraft cfg. files were correctly pasted as well. Any advice would be welcome.Best regards,Nick

Do the PMDG paints from the PMDG site work? If they don't, I would suggest reinstalling the MD-11.

Thanks,

Kevin L

G'day Kevin,I have downloaded the required textures from PMDG and they works like a charm. Thank you once again for your quick response and advice.Cheers.

Hi Nick, can you post all the [fltsim.X] entries from the aircraft.cfg of the PMDG MD-11(F)? The error might be somewhere. Did the instructions in the Readme mention to copy some files from default PMDG texture folder? Maybe you have overwritten some files, which weren't meant to be overwritten. It's just a guess.Cheers.
