May 31, 201115 yr Shalom and greetings all,I know that all planes of Thomas Ruth such as Airbus planes, 727s, and so on would require SP1 and SP2 of FSX. Is there possibility that somebody made some conversation to make those planes compatible with FSX without SP1 and SP2??Aharon
May 31, 201115 yr Just curious......... is there some reason you don't go ahead and install the Service packs? They are free. Many aircraft besides Thomas Ruth's fine offerings require them.
June 1, 201115 yr Author Shalom Opa,I do not want SP1 and SP2 for my FSX because my FSX is working very well without problems and if I install SP1 and SP2, it would render all my fantastic freeware FS2004 airport sceneries useless and invisible in my FSX. Also, all my add on planes work fine in my FSX without SP1 and SP2. Thomas Ruth's planes are only ones that do not work in my FSX.Also, is it correct forum to ask this question?Aharon
June 2, 201115 yr Author His email is in the packages, have you tried emailing him?Well from my past experiences, whenever I email any question to any author of livery or package or scenery, I never get reply. But you have a good suggestion. I do not think it will work if I email him.Aharon
June 2, 201115 yr No i doubt anyone would do the mods for just one person. Most new planes require either sp2 or acceleration, to make it only default FSX compatible would probably require the model to be changed which requires the authors consent and then he has to provide the models, its not an overnight thing. If you desire to only use default FSX then you are going to run out of options.
