I have been using it for several years.Same here, I have always used fraps and configured it to start with Vista boot up, but of late it hasn't been starting so I have to manually start it then all is well. Weird behavior and I have no idea why this should crop up now.Noel Noel System: 9900X3D Noctua NH-D15 G2, MSI Pro 650-P WiFi, G.SKILL 64GB (2 x 32GB) 288-Pin PC RAM DDR5 6000, WD NVMe 2Tb x 1, Sabrent NVMe 2Tb x 1, RTX 4090 FE, Corsair RM1000W PSU, Win11 Home, LG Ultra Curved Gsync Ultimate 3440x1440, Phanteks Enthoo Pro Case, TCA Boeing Edition Yoke & TQ, Cessna Trim Wheel, RTSS Framerate Limiter w/ Front Edge Sync. June 4, 201115 yr Every version does it, Jahman. It's worth noting that, if at first you don't see the FRAPS counter when using a particular viewpoint in FSX, try pressing the key command for that viewpoint a second time. For example, if you switch to the spot view (F11) and the FRAPS counter disappears, try pressing F11 again. Sometimes, the counter returns. Another trick is to switch to a different viewpoint, and then switch back again. These don't always work, but they are worth trying. I might mention that the same thing occurs with two train sims I use as well. Also, thank you to "jahman". I was a few iterations behind on versions. May not make a difference but..... regards, Dick near Pittsburgh, USA
June 4, 201115 yr Every version does it,...Have you tried contacting Fraps? They release updates frequently, so you might get this issue fixed.Cheers,- jahman.
June 5, 201115 yr I use the registered version, so I get an email whenever a new update is available. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
June 5, 201115 yr I might be wrong , but I suspect that some of the Microsoft security updates maybe effecting its function.I click the views to get out of fullscreen , then switch FRAPS off and then on again and it works fine after that.CheersKarol
