June 4, 201115 yr Hi,Just picked up a Samsung 32 " LED Series 4 4003 to run FSX on ....looks great so far.Questions for those using LCD/LED 's..... is there any setting adjustments on the TV to optimize it for FSX ?GPU is a GTX 580.Also, my Windows desktop is just a little to tall and wide for the screen....when I resize the picture I lose my 1920 X 1080 resolution....is there a way to customize my desktop, but maintain 1920 x 1080 ?thanks !Greg
June 9, 201114 yr Hello Greg,I had the same problem.Last month I installed a 37' TV from Samsung. My first idea was conecting it through HDMI but that was really a bad idea.Lousy picture quality and the same problem as yours.Desktop disn't fit on the screen. After some reading (the manual) I found that there was a setting on the TV thatsolved that problem entirely. However, the quality of the picture was still not good. After a lot of trial and error I gave up on the HDMI connection and I used the VGA connection instead. Both the problems are solved now.Very good picture quality and no more resisizing of my desktop.I am a happy simmer again.btw My tv is a UE37C6000happy landingsLuc BrusselmansBelgium

June 10, 201114 yr Author DVI out on GPU to VGA in on the TV...Ya that's what I thought ,But my TV doesn't have a VGA IN that I can see.On the other hand, my 55 " Toshiba has a PC IN which must be the VGA slot I'm looking for...but alas, nothing like that on the Samsung.cheersGreg

Haven't been on the forum much the last few days.Indeed, the VGA in on you tv screen. If you don't have a VGA on you tv, you can assume that one of the HDMI connection s doubles as a pc connection. I can choose, through the remote controle, which source I want to use (HDMI 1, HDMI 2 , PC, ...).When reading the manual, my guess is you'll find one of the connections labeled HDMI/DVI. Try that one.For me, it was a bit trial and error, but I found my sweet spot by using the VGA connection of the TV.Keep trying because a TV is great for Fs-XLuc BrusselmansBelgium

It looks very good, are you saying it would be better if I went DVI to the VGA socket on my PC? Thanks Rob Prest
