Hi first of all I would like to say what a great product. I do have a sometimes issues but I have used it for 3 time so still getting use to it and trying to brush up all steps.However sometimes I do say something which generates flaps command and it’s not nice when you passed TA all clean and fO goes Flaps 10. So would it be possible instead off mute FO to give him name like JIM as it has nothing to do with ATC like MIKE or SIERRA ETC. I wouldn't mind to say extra word and would be even nice then just saying commands. And if you don't directly call his name before command he wouldn't do anything. Hi yeah that's what I mean then we don't have to be worry about him to execute something what wasn't presiselly for him. also don't need to use mute key , and I thing it's sounds nice When you call someone by name. Cheers Petr :(

Hi I don't know if my suggestion was stupid or not don't see any movement in that direction while I am getting fo locking go around which is no way back unless performed however in vatsim hard to explain .So I decided to place hard mute switch from my CH quadrant controller not working . I could asign key then asigh same key in fsuipc but nothing happened. Clearly fo recognize key stroke but not when is coming from fsuipc . Just would like to ask how to sort it out . Very strange .Any hints on that one . I am kind of desperate . Because gear down at 280kt while climbing that is hard to explain. Please help

So mute works when you press the key, but not when you use your joystick button, right? Are you sure you've setup everything properly in FSUIPC?

Sir I am absolutely positive I use fsuipc all the time it seams like there is some offset which doesn't get to fscrew . Asign key mute in fs panel restart , the key working from keyboard , the same asign button to same key stroke , but when I apply button nothing happens on fs crew panel in fsx . Fsinn works normal no problem . What shal I do need to asign same key to ptt button fsinn as well as fscrew so when talking to atc fo won't here anything . If there is at least cancelled go around woul be ok please help

Which keyboard button are you using for soft mute in FS2Crew? Can't you simply connect that button to one of your joystick buttons via FSUIPC? That's what most people do. It's not about offsets. Cheers,

That is what I was trying but didn't work whit anything from other commands all good use fscrew keyboard setts as in manual and the to keystroke asign button on joystick but with mute strange when I press keystroke asign which would be insert then he mute while key is press but in fsuipc same keystroke to button nothing happen. I don't know what next cheers petr
