Arianne logo infringement?

Featured Replies

I was reading another thread here about Arianne's C40, and noticed that Arianne's logo is nearly a copy of Boeing's logo-- only flipped and reversed (and instead of the "plane" they used an arrow). Even if it doesn't technically count as infringement, it still makes them look like tools for not using something original. Just my observation and 2 cents.http://www.arianedesign.com/

Well, you may have to decide if you're talking about Arianne or Ariane and, since Avsim isn't the place to start legal activities, only Boeing can judge about their rights being in danger or not, right? They are running a whole press and legal activities branch, so they might already know and be ok with it.

Ariane's web includes the Boeing logo with the legend "Officially Licensed Product" so they are already on a first name basis with Boeing Legal Dept.BoeingApproved.jpgAAA_SERVICE_PACK_logo.jpgCheers,- jahman.

I was merely pointing out that Arianne, who has a history of pointing fingers, seemingly "copied" the logo of Boeing. Perhaps my post went over your level of comprehension-- so to answer-- I guess that makes you the tool?
