June 9, 201114 yr Ok, let me start by saying that I am not affiliated to this company in any way.I bought a custom made rig from a reliable firm who made sure it was running on all cylinders before I collected it.The only things I have installed are FSX, Rex, PMDG 747-400 (FSX) and some custom scenery. In four months I never made a take off and landing in the same flight. At some random point in every flight, I would get a CTD. I tried everything short of a reinstall. I mean, I read every forum I could and tried every coniguration. As a last resort before a reinstall I saw an ad for Re-Image. This software scans your operating system and any errors that have occured and then replaces any damaged, corrupt or missng files. Was I sceptical, hell yes, especially because its not cheap. The end result is that it found a bunch of missing dll files etc etc that I pressume were lost during my installs, and replaced them. I then flew EGKK to MUHA in the PMDG 747-400 with Rex and Radar Contact with not so much as a blip. I have since flown back and onwards with no problems.Like I said, I am nothing to do with this firm but I spent months scratching my head and getting fustrated beyond all hope. If this helps one simmer then it was worth me posting this. For more info this is the link to their site. http://www.reimage.comKind regards,Clive.
June 13, 201114 yr Well thanks, Clive. I have only myself to blame, and I guess I shouldn't have jumped so quickly. I have had a PC which had run trouble-free for months, but after running this app, not buying it, and then uninstalling it - I now find it has borked my TripleHead 2Go setup. :( i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
June 15, 201114 yr Author Paul,I have to ask, why did you download the app if you had a pc that was trouble free? This is a CTD forum and the app I mentioned is relative to that.Your post suggests that I have written about something which is a scam or does not work and I take offence at that. It is down to the end user to check that the app is suitable for them and common sense says make a backup, especially with flight sim. I am sorry that this did not work for you, but the reviews suggest that it does work for the majority of users. It also worked for me.Kind regards,Clive.

It also worked for me.Kind regards,Clive. It checks dll's for corruption: how do I know which dll(s) have any kind of corruption and which program any particular one might impact. We all suspect there might be something amiss on any one of our pc's. I installed it as a trial, hoping to see if it found any which were suspect. It caught a couple of inconsequential 'problems" then suggested I should buy the program in order to fix them. I didn't buy the program and after the un-installation the TH2G single/triple setup, plus bezel management was gone. That was no fault of mine, and that program is what did it. You're saying I'm not supposed not to trust a vendor's product to not harm my pc???? How do we "trust" any vendors program to not harm our pc? How am I supposed to "check that the app is suitable for them"?? Huh? ..and your suggestion that I am lacking in commomn sense - "common sense says make a backup" is da##ed offensive. So back off with the insults. :( This is a similar scam to that put out by FSPS here. There are better men than I that have been scammed by smart advertizing and shady products."Kind" regards, i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
June 30, 201114 yr Clive,After reading your post. I purchased Reimage-PC Repair On line program. July 19, 201114 yr Stephen,When I experienced "Problem Event Name: BEX" I was hopping "Reimage-PC Repair On line program" will solved the problem like magic. Unfortunately in first RUN it didn't. I contacted Reimage. They were very helpful and advised some additional check up items. One of it was FSX reinstalling. I did not reinstalled the FSX but I went through all new addons namely UT2 and FPSLimiter. I uninstalled UT2 and made test flight, but still problem was there. At the end I realized problem was causing by FPSLimite and unistalled it.Then I run the "Reimage-PC Repair On line program". Recent days I made oceanic flights with all addons. Including PMDG747x, MD11, FsPassenger, FSCaptain, REX,LiveATC, RCA and UT2. (NO FPSLimiter}. Conclusion:I believe , Reimage scan and repair did provide reasonable help to my PC, I have no more BEX problem . I cannot say 100% ,credit goes to REimage, but I didn't ask my money back during the 30 days period. With my mid level of PC knowledge,It is good to have access a tool like Reimage and http://www.venetubo.com . I will keep it.Best regardsAhmet Ahmet Sanal "Time you enjoyed wasting, was not wasted"
