I also have this problem, even the Raas advisories are missing. I will raise a support ticket but was worried that it was something daft that I had done and hoped someone would have a solution. Any help appreciated, Clive

I also have an issue with this. The only issue I have ever had with the NGX is the disappearing aircraft problem which was sorted by the Hghmem=1 fix.Last night I installed UT2x. Seemed straight forwrad enough but now, no matter which NGX I fly, (800 or 900) the autopilot will not engage. The button will not illuminate, the horn will not sound when disengage tab is flipped, just nothing. The plane itself flys superbly and I am not suggesting for a second that there is a flaw.... simply that I have done something when installing UT2x. I just dont know where to look!Any help appreciated. The plane is in trim, hand flown to align onto the 1st waypoint, fmc seems happy but no A/P. I have also just installed the latest FSUIP.I have attached a screenshot showing both the annunciator panel and the centre consul trim wheel etc.Kind regards,Clive.

Paul,I have to ask, why did you download the app if you had a pc that was trouble free? This is a CTD forum and the app I mentioned is relative to that.Your post suggests that I have written about something which is a scam or does not work and I take offence at that. It is down to the end user to check that the app is suitable for them and common sense says make a backup, especially with flight sim. I am sorry that this did not work for you, but the reviews suggest that it does work for the majority of users. It also worked for me.Kind regards,Clive.

Ok, let me start by saying that I am not affiliated to this company in any way.I bought a custom made rig from a reliable firm who made sure it was running on all cylinders before I collected it.The only things I have installed are FSX, Rex, PMDG 747-400 (FSX) and some custom scenery.In four months I never made a take off and landing in the same flight. At some random point in every flight, I would get a CTD. I tried everything short of a reinstall. I mean, I read every forum I could and tried every coniguration.As a last resort before a reinstall I saw an ad for Re-Image. This software scans your operating system and any errors that have occured and then replaces any damaged, corrupt or missng files. Was I sceptical, hell yes, especially because its not cheap.The end result is that it found a bunch of missing dll files etc etc that I pressume were lost during my installs, and replaced them. I then flew EGKK to MUHA in the PMDG 747-400 with Rex and Radar Contact with not so much as a blip. I have since flown back and onwards with no problems.Like I said, I am nothing to do with this firm but I spent months scratching my head and getting fustrated beyond all hope. I feel compelled to write this note following the best support I have ever received.Nothing much, but I e-mailed a problem to JD at about 8.30 pm on New Years Eve, (Not really expecting to hear until at least the 2nd)about an hour later I had a reply and the answer to my question.Where else on New Years eve would you get this level of support?Thank you for that.One final question, where does my flt/wx path point to? Cracked it!I installed Radar contact two weeks ago and that installed another version of fsuipc. I reinstalled the origional version, which is recent anyway and hey presto.Thank you Marcus for throwing that suggestion into the pot while I still had some hair left to pull out.Thanks also to everyone else who responded. Hi Craig.I have no lights on the L C R, no cmd. A/T engages fine and TOGA works like a dream. Lnav and Vnav are both illuminated at the gate. Have tried flying straight and level, then getting the AP to engage, nothing, no lights, no CMD no auto anything.It can only be something I am doing, or not doing, but for the life of me I cannot think of it.I have followed all the setup proceedures from a cold and dark state but have this feeling that I am just being stupid and the more I look, the less chance there is of seeing it.Thanks for your help.Clive.

Hi there,This isn`t another one of those how do I fly the plane questions. I have been flying this bird now for about a year or so and have a problem. yesterday I took off and the auto pilot would not engage, no matter what I tried. It had been a while since my last flight in the 747 so went back to basics and followed Jared "smitty" Smiths getting started guide, which includes a cold and dark scenario complete with start up proceedures etc. I have uninstalled the plane and re-installed, no luck. I can hand fly the plane with no alarm bells etc but the a/p just will not engage. All necessary info is programmed into the fmc but I guess I am missing something.....HELP! (Both the sound and the version updates are installed).
