June 30, 201114 yr I read briefly the other post on my phone... I think I had a similar problem... i have the yoke, quadrant, and rudder pedals and it worked great everytime on multiple computers. I built a new one and it still worked great. Then one night it just wouldn't work. I could get it to work for maybe a minute, then it stopped working. I tried a bunch of things, like driver updates, uninstall drivers, defrag, everything i could think of to fix it. I did some reading and it ended up being a power problem. I have a 750W power supply and it's never affected anything other than this time. Basically I had too many things plugged into one hub. I've heard an external hub will work, but for me I just have everything plugged in on different internal hubs and now it works.Hope this helps. I thought mine was broken, but I kept trying to fix it because I knew I had not touched anything since it worked last... Shane Murley, CYEG
June 30, 201114 yr Author @ Steve thankyou mate tried that but the problem is windows does not even acknowlage the controller is plugged in. It will pick up the pedals if I plug them in on their own and will install drivers no problem. The problem happens when the peddles are pluged into the yoke. Thanks for the input though mate. @Shane, I think you are on to something here I will unplug all usb devices then start off with the yoke and peddles and see what happens. I only have my external HDD and a USB mouse plus the yoke and peddles on USB at the moment. I`ll try switching things around a bit and maybe open her up and see whats running from where. It`s a brand new rig with corsair 800wt PSU. It`s just so strange that it worked last night then not this morning after unplugging then plugging back in. Best of it is I can`t remember what ports I used last night when it was working :( Thanks again guys I`ll update this thread later on my test results My youtube channel for HD FSX Videos http://www.youtube.com/user/Doogiereid?feature=mhee Doogie Reid
June 30, 201114 yr Doug,Just to second what Shane said. I run Saitek yoke, throttles and rudders pedals. I have found that it is best to plug the yoke into a different powered usb hub to the rudder pedals. The throttle should be plugged into the back of the yoke. I also found that using FSUIPC for all my axis was a god send. If you go down this route, save all your original FSX settings first and then delete all the axis controls in FSX and let FSUIPC take over. You have much more control with regards to settings and calibration. If you go down the FSUIPC route then I have some PDF tutorials which may help you if you are new to FSUIPC especially designed for the Saitek yoke.Gary Gary Buss

Still no luck. I`ve deleted drivers registry entries etc and windows will still not pick up the yoke, all I get is the green LED on the quadrant. I`m starting to think it is knackered mate. It`s a brand new rig home build i72600k system. All other USB devices function and the pedals wont be picked up by windows when plugged into the yoke. It`s still under gaurentee for another year and I`ve only used it for about 4 weeks before my old PC had an accident with a beer. The yoke and pedals were not plugged in during this incident. Thanks for the help and as for FSUIPC I`m pretty handy with it and assigning controls.Hopefully tech support will get back to me soon and in the meantime back to the Logitech3D which is 8 years old and still faultless. At least I can use the Saitek Pedals with it while I solve the yoke problem. My youtube channel for HD FSX Videos http://www.youtube.com/user/Doogiereid?feature=mhee Doogie Reid
July 1, 201114 yr Author Did you install the USB drivers for your new board Doug?Yeah Dazz mate all updated and current. I`ve even went in through device manager to stop windows handeling the power to the USB ports. As I said every other device is fine. I actually really enjoyed using my old stick with the pedals last night. Might just invest in a decent stick as it saves a lot of space.
