No exterior model...

Featured Replies

G'Day allI have no experience in the mater, but is it possible to have a fully functional 737 in FS without a visual model? What I’m trying to ask is would there be any performance increase in the VC if there was no exterior model to load? Or does the exterior model vanish from FS when you in the 2D/VC anyway?I got the idea when reading another post where someone mentioned that they couldn’t care less about the "outside" model.

Cheers,
Ryan

I dont think fsx renders the exterior model when you are in the vc view.

FAA: ATP-ME, 737 CA, enough time in the 757/767 to be dangerous 🤠

Nope no difference in disabling the exterior model when in VC mode. The way FSX works is you have a VC mdl and an exterior mdl. If you are in VC, the exterior is disabled, and vice versa. Disabling exterior completely has NIL effects on VC performance and vice versa.
