You are trying to exchange the one in the system folder, right?From my experience, this isn't necessary since the simple dropping of the uiautomationcore.dll in the FSX main folder forces FSX to use this one first and disregard the system folder one then. Same method as on some directx dlls.However, that system folder thingy is bound to rights and ownership (which can be influenced by right clicking it and going through the security properties) and can also be accessed when booting Windows into Safe Mode.Here's a thread for you. http://forum.avsim.n...hing-win-7-x64/

CoolP is spot on, all you need to do is place the new .dll in the root FSX folder. FSX.exe will always look for it in it's own folder first, if it can't find the dll it will then look too the system folders.
