Aircraft and Avionics Beta now available
BAW303 replied to Alvega's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Slated for January release -
The “PATH TOO STEEP” issue has been noted by the Dev’s as a bug that didn’t come up in the beta testing. They are already already looking into it. https://discord.com/channels/736572376967282769/1024051725583265822/1034575684972068984 I’ve had it on both of my flights so far.

Ok thanks. I will try again. Still getting to grips with the G2 here

Have any VR users got the menu to work in VR. Or is any known workaround? It doesn’t work for me.

Introducing Pilot's Deck, a StreamDeck Plugin
BAW303 replied to Fragtality's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Plugin doesn't create any log file. Stream deck log says plugin crashed. The plugin 'PilotsDeck' crashed with code -2147450730 Did you want to PM me your email and I can send the log over? Yes checked the .Net was correct. Just tried 0.6.6 with the same outcome... -

I followed that yesterday. Ran Powershell Command to unblock files. Still the same unfortunately. That's the point I gave up trying... -

Yes, first time trying your plugin. All the button types are there within stream deck . But no action types in the drop down list. -

I think it was likely the plug-in that didn’t work. Profiles loaded into steam deck ok. -
Introducing Pilot's Deck, a StreamDeck Plugin
BAW303 replied to Fragtality's topic in The Prepar3d Forum
Hi, I did see your profile on flight sim.to for the Fenix. I tried it yesterday for a few hours but could not get this to work at all. FSUIPC was loading the scripts. But nothing on the stream deck seemed to work unfortunately. -
Inconsistency in MSFS weather perhaps? I’ve noticed this too. But, My last flight yesterday she was a slippery little eel 😬

Fenix Version 1.0.2.104, released on 2022-06-01

You surely cant go wrong buying this. It is simply the most satisfying purchase I've made in all my years in this hobby and have them all: FSL, PMDG, Aerosoft etc.. on all the ESP based platforms. None of them gave me the feeling that this rendition of Fifi does. Its very very immersive on all levels. -
REVIEW: iniScene Heathrow
BAW303 replied to FilbertFlies's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Not that I’m aware of. i don’t think object exclusion can be done yet. I agree it’s not great on performance. In fact I don’t think it’s a particularly good scenery. I’m considering doing some improvements to the default handmade scenery… gate markings etc and going back to that. -
HW Users & the Fenix A320- Unite!
BAW303 replied to cavaricooper's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I've used them all but, I use Spad.next simply because I find it more flexible when it comes to Vrinsight MCP displays. I also find the UI more friendly. However, There is an ongoing annual cost to Spad. I personally don't mind that as its under continual development with new Alpha features and hardware added all the time. AAO has strong community support, so its what fits you and your hardware best I guess. -
HW Users & the Fenix A320- Unite!
BAW303 replied to cavaricooper's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Most LVARs are available for the Fenix A320 to access twiddly knobs and switches, even CB’s. You can achieve the mapping of these with Axis & Ohs, Spad.next or even FSUIPC. -
Fenix A320 no transitions in FMC

Press line select key next via. Then they should appear. -
A few niggling issues worth reporting. But, Overall I'm absolutely loving this version of Fifi. Really looking forward to see what the team can do with this fairly solid base going forward. 1. ND/PFD doesn't work efficiently rendering on my iGPU 11900K. Just stutters along in single digit FPS. Rendering on CPU just destroys my overall frame rate. Leaving GPU (3090) which is fine until you see any dense cloud then the ND/PFD Bugs out and stops rendering for a few seconds at a time. 2. Pushback tug is very unreliable, disconnecting mid push regularly. 3. Flight model sems a little too twitchy under manual flight and AP Managed modes. 4. External EFB on iPad bugs out sometimes ends in blank page. Refreshing page doesn't help. 5 Systems seem to slow to a crawl on occasion, causing the sim to drop its FPS to single digits. Always recovers but annoying non the less 6 As @Steve Dra Mentioned above, The Discord support an absolute mess.

Which will you purchase? (PMDG/ Fenix)
BAW303 replied to ryanbatc's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
I voted incorrectly 🤦♂️ I’ll actually be purchasing both. 700 & 800 only though because of the pricing strategy. Fenix… we’ll I’m an Airbus kinda guy and will spend a majority of my time in this one. If it is as good as the previews suggest, then it should be a level above anything else on the market. That should push all other developers into innovating again. -
