July 13, 201114 yr The dots were only present in the picture posted by the original poster of the deleted thread. In fact, after looking at other NGX screenshots at night there was no hint of any texture abnormality. So let's remember that the famous dots will most likely NOT be in the final release. Matter of fact, I would assume PMDG didn't rush by texturing a focus area like the MIP with obvious flaws. She looks great, she flies... That's it. Erik L.
July 14, 201114 yr Commercial Member Those "dots" are an unavoidable consequence of how we do the variable lighting - it's just something you have to accept or else turn off the flood lights. FSX doesn't even support variable lighting and many developers have told their customers it's impossible - we did it but there are limitations, this is one them unfortunately. July 14, 201114 yr Tbh, even after having them circled I still can't see them at all, it won't be an issue for me at all
July 14, 201114 yr Guess small dots are not an issue when there is soooo much more to look forward to :D Btw, why couldn't you just delete the posts instead of deleting the thread sir?CheersMarc Marc M.

Many thanks for the answer Ryan. Keep up the great work! Once again PMDG is revolutionizing the FS world with another outstanding product - and just as about all the people around here - I can't wait for release. Marius Petrascu
