and if you missed it, it's repeated at 22:00 and 01:00 (we really are spoilt with 3 programs being shown 3 times each night :-roll )

Hi GuysGlad u both managed to watch it. I thought i was bad sitting here with my little computer desk and my pc running FS2002, but hats off to the guys who have got the time and money to build those awesome cockpits.Ive taped it so when my wife gets in from work tonight i can show her that shes not the only sim widow in the world and that there are guys out there worse than me.Anyway must dash and get her tea on. Means i get brownie points and she doesnt nag me when i fly for a few hours tonight after shes gone to bed LOL.TomPS its the the first documentary ive seen on Discovery Wings UK that isnt 3 years out of date lol.

Do Not have wings, but Discovery is showing The Wright Experience. When Wilbur and Orville had the Uh Huh moment of attaching Yaw and Roll to each other!!RonaldGlasgow, Scotland

Hi RonaldSee you're in Glasgow. Im out in Bellshill, hope youve got your heating on its freezing outside lol.The normal Discovery channels are showing a lot of current stuff, obviously being 100 years to the week when it all began. Very interesting i must admit.Got the keetle and toast time for tea lol.Tom

yEp. Snow on the way, especially to youse yins in the sticks!(lol)I am in West End of Glasgow, the posh bit!

More Scots lads in here, and here's me thinking I'm the only one! I'm at Balloch nr Loch Lomond, nice to meet you :)I watched the program earlier on, it's nice to see the real people connected to the names we see on here.CheersDavid

We Scots should start our own forum, where we can talk the gibberish that only we understand! He Drum Ho as we waggle our wingy thingies under the Forth Bridge!I have been with this hobby since the C64, ending up as a Beta tester for Fs98. I ma no way as competent now as I was then!I have attached whole caboodle to a laptop through a Epson projector, and 100 watt PA system, taking it out to educational events (last year) and setting up Piper at Glasgow Airport! I then invite kids and older kids, to have a free flight at the controls over Clyde up to Loch Lomond. I KNOW I have started others on this rocky road through this. The line waiting to try it was amazing! However, I expected most would want to just 'have a go' and was surprised at how the kids were happy to see me in the Dreamfleet 737 taking a trip. I recall sitting at force feedback yoke and pedals, taking off and looking around me being astounded that I had an audience of about 50 just sitting on the floor enjoying the flight. The real gasps of amazement came when I took 737 at 100 feet at 380mph!So, if called upon to do this again, you have been warned! I shall seek help!(lol)I was invited to do this at the World of Flight in Fife, but had to desist owing to other pressures like being on holiday! As I said, all local Scots be warned, I know where you are now!regards,

Hi GuysIts great to hear from you all. I didnt realise that there were a lot of flight simmers north of the border. I thought the bulk were in the US of A or a few dotted on the flip side of Hadrian's Wall LOL.Ive being simming for about 6 years ago. I used to prefer the military sims ie Fighters Anthology/Janes F15/Total Air War and in '99 got hold of a copy of FS98. Didnt think much about it at the time but one night i was bored, i jump started the old 266 pentium i had and installed and ive been hooked on civil simming ever since. Never got FS2000 as my pc at the time would have struggled to run it, but just b4 FS2002 was released i talked my good lady into getting me an Athlon 1.2 and of course had to but FS2002 (as you do) and what a difference, from the old blocky textures to the 3d stuff weve got what a difference. Im in limbo becos my pc is not quite powerful enough to upgrade to FS2004 though id love to get it, but think if i forked out the money it would be like watching a slide show. So ill stick with FS02 my Afcad and my FSSC.Ive downloaded the FS2002 sceneries for Glasgow and Edinburgh and Prestwick by Ian Gallacher and Paul Baines's Dyce and a FS2000 one for Inverness also by Ian Gallagher and the free UK mesh from FSGenesis which gives Scotland hills and mountains lol and i fly around Scotland till my wife realises im not there lol. Anyway guys sorry for prattling on, perhaps we could set up a little forum for ourselves but have always wondered about perhaps having occasional meetings where we could exchange ideas about scenery design, that kind of thing. Its only an idea but im sure with collective heads we could do a lot more than the software companies (Scotflight Scenery excepted)seem to be doing. Im no programmer or serious designer/painter but just a guy with loads of free time as my wife works shifts. Ok must dash, hoping you all have a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year when it comes. Im going into Glasgow to do some last minute shopping so its time to get the train and look out my kevlar body armour.Speak soon.Tom

Hey Dinna forget me :-)Im up in Aberdeen and according to the bookies we are 3/1 favourite for getting a white christmas, Glasgow just behind at 4/1 :-)See Ya :-waveBill

Now my turn, big up for Clydebank !!!

A big shout to Bill in Aberdeen and Marky in Clydebank, compliments of the season to you both.Tom

I was rather gla my wife was in bed....Are you sure it's a good idea to show her the tape? We all admire a masterful man but I smell trouble a brewing when she sees the full blown disease.....
