July 26, 201114 yr I just wanted to let everyone know of a tragic death up here in Washington State over the weekend. Google employee and former Microsoft software engineer Steve Lacey was killed by a drunk driver while sitting at an intersection in his car in Kirkland, Washington. Mr Lacey worked for Microsoft for 11 years and led the teams that developed the Microsoft Flight Simulator series. The man that lost control of his car and hit Steve was 4 times the legal limit for B.A.C.If it wasnt for Mr Lacey and the teams he led we would not have this awesome software that so many of us love and are addicted to. So, again, Id like to express my condolences to Steve's family, friends, and co-workers, its sounds like he was a truly amazing person.
