Starting Flight1's md80

Featured Replies

I've recently purchased a second hand copy of the flight 1 md80. Unfortunately it came with no packaging so I cannot get access to product support. All I want know is how to start this this thing up! It looks as though all I need to do is to connect the 'shore supply' and then follow the cockpit trainer. But how!!

Is a second-hand copy of a F1 product legal? I didn't think they allowed license reassignment.

If that is the case, as I got this via amazon I'll send it back and try to get a refund.

Is it second hand or was it just sold by another vendor through Amazon? Secondly, when you choose the MD-80 in FSX it comes up as an options screen that has a very good tutorial built in.

Everything you need is built into the interactive training module inside the game.

It was sold by another vendor. The problem is that even following the tutorials I cannot get any power to the electronic displays, fault lights etc. Also if I try to start it with the engine running all the gauges/displays are missing and non of the switches work.I have never had problems like this with any addon before.

this may help you.

Thanks for trying but still no joy. It maybe because my md80 is the standard version and not the pro?Whatever the reason, I've emailed the seller and asked for a refund. I'm not wasting any more time on this rather disapointing beast.

Refund arranged and md80 removed from system.
