AI Traffic going through my aircraft like it wasn't there?

Featured Replies

Hi,Ok I'm having some issues with this AI traffic going through my aircraft whilst taxiing to the runway. Is there a way to stop this and this happens in every airport and to every plane of mine.ThanK You

Unless they will pass through your center point, they will tend to ignore you. That said, make sure that the radius value of your own aircraft is correct - if too small, the AI aircraft will get way too chummy. :)Simplest way to check your radius is to use the AFCAD Aircraft Editor (Tools menu). You can change it there too.Hope this helps,

If you have FSUIPC you can use the traffic zapper function. Zaps the traffic in front of you at the touch of a button. Can't wait for Pete Dowson to finish the "real world" version !

Is it that program called TrafficLook?

Traffic Look is an free accessory application that displays AI and their actions in a separate window. It requires FSUIPC. FSUIPC is a module (.dll). The same version accommodates a developer license where the vendor has licensed the features his application needs, or a user paid registration license where all features are enabled. Traffic look does not require a full user unlocked registration for FSUIPC. To get the traffic zapper function you would need the paid registration or an ATC application that uses it. The traffic zapper 'nukes' ai immediately in front of your aircraft. If you have an AI parked at a gate you want to use you can use the zap function to vacate it. It is also handle for situations where you get in the FS head to head stalemate of meeting AI or getting rid of a stuck AI in front of you. FSUIPC also has a traffic density toggle. If you one of the two values to zero and the other to your normal AI percent, you can use it as a toggle to turn AI on and off. This has an additional function of reloading (refreshing) AI. The user paid registration allows many features involving button and key assignments not available in FS, non-linear axis calibration (for one better less sensitive nose wheel steering with more sensitivity toward the controller end of range), functions made available beyond normal FS assignments, and more. The base FSUIPC package is here and downloading and installing it will give you its documentation as well. It is now an exe installer that will get your FS path from the registry;http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html Documentation only is here as well as interim partial updates:http://forum.simflight.com/forum/142-download-links/ I suggest you get the FSUIPC3 documentation and browse through the users's guide for a good description to see if it has any value for you. I have it and use it for many capabilities beyond the add-on license unlocked features. A user paid license for all features is here:http://secure.simmarket.com/pete-dowson.mhtml Another way to toggle all AI for a refresh is to advance FS time by about a minute and AI will start over.Uhhhh . . . fill me in to what you mean :)
