July 29, 201114 yr Hi, Just finished my first flight with VOXATC. I must say I am impressed by this product. Together with fs2crew voice it really does feel like you are working with actual people.I have one important issue, during the taxi fase my frame rate drops to half. Maybe it has something to do with the taxi lighting function, but after lineup/takeoff clearance frame rates are normal again. Does anyone else experience the same thing? What might be a solution? Kind regards,Joris
July 29, 201114 yr Hmm, I haven't noticed it. I will check it on my next flight.Helge Helge Rasmussen
August 1, 201114 yr The green taxi lights are causing an FPS-hit. Open VASettings.xmlUnder<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?><Settings>add the line<TaxiPathLights Value="FALSE" />This will turn off the green lights permanently and give you a few FPS back. Peter

PeterYes this works (also got this tip from the developer), but what is the reason that the path lights reduce my fps by almost 50%? Can I do something about that (without removing the lights)? I would like to be able to use this feature.

August 3, 201114 yr Author Have you by any chance Bloom or DX10 enabled? Do you use a 'clean' fsx.cfg?no Bloom or DX10.Not a very clean fsx.cfg, installed some addons etc. But what setting in fsx.cfg could have this effect? Other lights on the airport are no problem (including center line taxi lights at night)
September 1, 201114 yr Hi guysCan some tell me were I find "Open VASettings.xml"I have the latest version VoxATC 6.05ThanksDave
September 1, 201114 yr VASettings.xml is in your user's \AppData\Roaming\Internal Workings\VoxATC X\ folder. As with any manual tweakage, please make a backup of your intended victim file first.
