For those of you with i-Phones and i-Pads, if you haven't tried F-Sim you are really missing out on a LOT of fun. Hand flying approaches in the Shuttle into either the Edwards AFB or the Florida landing site, day or night, and every thing from severe clear to overcast with limited visibility. It even has a VC, with full working HUD and you can replay your flights from a variety of views. Not only that, but how many flight simulators fit in your pocket that you can take with you, and it only costs 99 cents ? :()

No, Pierre, it utilizes the accelerometer in the phone to sense movement. You just roll the phone left or right, and pitch it forward and back, as if you were using a yoke. Works really smooth. You do control some things with the touch screen, such as wheel brakes, gear extension, speed brake,and rudder if you choose, or you can set it up to have the auto pilot handle those for you. It's really a neat sim. I find myself pulling it out of my pocket to shoot a couple of approaches all the time. It's great when you are waiting in the doctors office, or even in a long line at the store. And yes, the ground is photrealistic. Florida looks fantastic!

Bought it on the iphone and liked it a lot. Then I downloaded it on my iPad and WOW. 10x better.
