The hype is purely manufactured. PMDG have done "marketing 101" on all of you. Text book job. Drag out the hype as far as you can, whilst providing minimal but selective updates when interest dies down a bit. They know their target market and they know how to speak to it.

Uh yeah, seen the same craziness with releases from Phoenix, way back, servers crashing, etc.
