Hi, my system has the following spec;

• Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400S at 2.66GHz
• 8GB DDR2 RAM
• 1TB HDD (7200rpm)
• Windows & Home Premium 64-bit
• NVIDIA GeForce 330M GT

I can run Concorde X and get 15fps with all sliders on Medium which is the graphics quality I play at.On the defualt 737 I get 55fps with all settings on medium,.Both fps are taken at the foot of the runway at Heathrow. Would the fps be equal to Concorde or better, because I can play Concorde fine and it doesn't jutter despite the low fps. Hope I get a reply!! Can't wait till I fly the 737!! I have Core 2 Duo E8400 OC @3.7ghz8gb ddr2 ram @ 1066mhzgraphic card Nvidia 9500 (waiting for main Graphic card to be fixed) in 2d cockpit steady 30-40fps, in vc 18-20. Lj. Prodanovic

Welp, you're on older tech. Mobile tech at that. You should be able to run it with minimal settings in FSX, but don't expect miracles!

Is the 737 any harder on fps than Concorde X??

I don't know about that graphic card. If it runs OK, you are lucky. If it don't, you can't complain PMDG is too complex, because it needs more than that to run really good

on the 747-400X I average 20fps. Would the 737 manage the same?

The 737NGX definitely performs better than the 747X, I get atleast 5 FPS more in the VC in complex scenery.

So, I guess I am fine then. Will purchase the 737NGX at the weekend. I am always watching the promo, I am watching it so much I have downloaded the promo video!! Will updates yous on fps when I get it.
