No !! This is a well known problem with FSX. Try raising your eye level with shift + Enter !!You lower it with Shift + Backspace. CTRL + Spacebar resets it back to the default. Fred.

Thanks, will look into it! The reason I wasn't sure is that I once sat on the Captain's seat of a Boeing 737 where I couldn't really look out of the front windows. And I am 5' 11" (180 cm).

You can also set a key combination to tilt your head up/ down. That helps.
