Hi, if anyone is interested I would offer to sell the printed manuals for the MD-11 that PMDG used to sell a long time ago. They are in perfect condition. Due to the weight I would think that shipping is only affordable domestic in the USA, but then again overseas shipping could be checked, too. Please let me know if interested! Denis

hi all, with the sales going on at the moment i am considering to buy KSEA. should i go with the Taxi2Gate or Drzewiecki version? i have a hard time finding comparisons on the net (i am aware that you get more than one airport with the latter, however i will only be using KSEA either way). maybe one of you has used both versions and can share some experience? thanks you! hi, i installed version 3.3.4 and the instalation finished without error message. i started P3D (4.1) and allowed the use of the add on as prompted by the sim. with a flight loaded, i am trying to find the add on under the Add-ons menu but do not see it there. i think the lights on AI traffic look different, but i could just as well be imagining things... i did the installation with the antivirus turned off, as administrator. should i not be able to see the menu item 7under Add-ons in order to change the settings? thanks! is that actually per airframe (registration) or per engine variant, or all across the board?

that is exactly what i am saying. it only started after i went to OFF again first.

i tried it in the air, too. when on the ground i noticed the APU was not running, so i went to START again. would not work. if you turn it back to OFF, and then to START, it will actually start.

yesterday i landed at KJFK (-12°C), but the plane would take forever to stop. does that mean there is an iced up runway simulationn implemented or did i simply mess this up myself? i am thinking maybe i disabled the auto brakes (where set to 2) accidently with the toe brakes after touchdown? hard to tell since you don't get the FSX "brakes" message when auto brakes are at work. did anyone else experience this? thanks, Denis

what i find helps a bit is if i stay inside the airplane during the entire FSX session. i believe that when you change to the outside view it increases VAS use. a lot of times that is (especially at FSDT KLAX) when the sim is showing high VAS symptoms or even crashes, when i change to outside view at LAX. so from the moment you load the sim until you are parked at the LAX gate, do not go to outside view. then, when you do that after you park, you can probably change the view and have no problems at all. (tested this just today, EDDF-KLAX yesterday: with outside views at departure gate, taxi out, cruise, approach, and then at KLAX the plane was a skeleton when i arrived - so i must have been very close to 4GB; today: no outside view until arrival, switching to outside view at KLAX, and no problems with that. i could watch GSX get to work; both flight with same parameters including wx.)
