I reinstalled FSX as instructed and the issue did fix itself with fuel loaded via the FMC.

I am wondering if reducing the fuel in the center tank to 0 while in flight forces the CG or some other paramter to recycle/refresh and maybe that clears this problem. Or something along those lines.
