Flight Dynamics, just me?

Hello PMDG, I have been enjoying the NGX greatly, but I am experiencing major issues with the FDx. I have been unable to climb correctly since purchasing it. I get to around 9000 feet and the plane begins to reduce the nose angle, yet achieve the same or higher climb rate. It ends up at -2 degrees pitch, climbing at 500 feet per minute. I have included a picture to show my configuration, and despite a fuel imbalance (which was not the issue, this has happened with normal fuel). The aircraft tops out at around 24000 feet, and then does not feel as though it has enough thrust to continue climbing. I posted in the forums and they said that it was noticed in the beta, but was related to weather. This is not the case, as I tried with default real world weather, a default weather theme, and Active Sky Evolution, with all the same result. I have rebuilt my FSX appdata folder to no avail. I am also using the most all realism sliders on maximum. I appreciate any advice, and my system specs are below. ngxissue.jpg Win 7 x64Intel i7 950Nvidia GTX4708GB DDR3 RAMASUS motherboard Thank you,Collin

Is there any reason why you don't have the A/T in ARM?

You're not on vatsim or ivao with FSInn are you? FSInn has a bug where the greater the altitude the hotter it gets... which is normally wrong... (unless temp inversion). Anyway it will be very hot up at altitude...

Collin, What addons do you have installed? Please name all and any and we'll see if there is a pattern. Thanks,

Mat, great idea. Maybe you could isolate the problem.

(1) Hello I tried to make my 737 ngx stall at hight altitude, speed ,flap ,and gears down etc,and the plane stick shaker d'ont go on at all ? (2) I was able today to land the 737ngx with full capacite fuel,at 120knots only, without any problemes?that look way over weight to me?and not real.(can my experience got something to do with it?.) CanThe flight dynamics be the causes?Thank-youCarl Dumont

Stick shaker activates when it should. And that depends primarily on your angle of attack and other parameters such as N1 and anti ice.

Hi CollinWhen you get a chance can you replicate the same flight as shown above and when she reaches FL250 ish could you activate the MS Display [shift Z] and tell me if the speed and altitude readout matches the NGX readouts? Thanks

I am having the same problem, using FSINN, but FSINN weather is disabled, so it is not that issue.

After I wrote the email above I went back into the sim to see what was going on. By that time all the fuel in the center tank had burned off and the aircraft, a UAL 737-800WL, was happily climbing at 2,500 fpm at 31,000' on its way to 35,000. All trim was poper as was the speed. Go figure. I wonder if there was something funny about how the fuel was added to the center tank trhowing the cg way off. The CG was 24.9% which seems about right. Anyway, all seems good now. It flew about 100 nm at 9,000' though. Maybe see if you have any fuel inyour center tank and if so, remove it and see if things improve. I had originally loaded 29,000 lbs. There was 14,000 left when it was flying right when I got back to the sim..

HEre is something else interesting regarding this problem. I was flying with another UA VA pilot with the NGX and he had the exact same problem as here, 199 kts, 6 degrees of nose down angle, and coldn't climb. I told him to take the fuel out og his center tank and he said that he only had 900 lbs in it but he took it out anyways so that there was 0 fuel in the tank. The aircraft immediately returned to normal flight. IT accelerated up to the correct speed, assumed a nice pitch up and began climbing normally. Shortly afterhe was able to engage VNAV and all was well. So perhaps there is some issue with loading fuel in the center tank that is causing this. Like me, he input a total fuel quantity into the FMC fuel page.
