tai on above 10 degrees

hello,I often have this message: "tai on above 10 degrees" on the FMC and don't know what it means!i've searched on keewords on the manual without success! can somebody help me with this? thanksBernard

I'm not totally sure i get that aswell sometimes, but i think it maybe something to do with a setting in the CDU on temperature

A pure quess, but could it be : True Airspeed Indicated above 10° pitch up? ( rather than ground speed ) A total guess though. smile.png

Engine anti-ice selected on above 10 degrees C. Warning as it can damage the system. Richard Avery

TAI stands for Thermal Anti Ice, referring to the engine anti ice. That message indicates that engine anti-ice is inappropriately on above 10 degrees Celsius.

Just to add, the temperature is total air temperature (TAT) and not static Richard Avery
