Night Lightning issue. When Power on-dark.

Featured Replies

Hi I got a strange issue(maybe it is just a setting problem) with the night lightning. When just the battery is running, the flightdeck is illuminated quite well, but when I select ext.Power or the Apu gen it goes completly dark. The Mainpanel light doesn't help then, I can't have a dome light or so when the power is on. Am I doing something wrong? If not, I'll post pictures and more infos. Thank you! Kevin M.

Hi Kevin, When you are powered by the battery only and the emergency light is armed it will illuminate the cockpit. It will go off again when you select another power source. Maybe you can look into that direction? Best regards, Daniel Verhaal

Yes, that's correct. I just tried that. So that seems to be normal, but how can I switch it on again? Because with the main Panel light switch and all the others turned on, I don't have the same bright illuminated flightdeck as with the emergency light. Is that supposed to be like that? Regards Kevin M.

there is a cockpit flood light right at the top of the overhead to the right of the IRS. Its plenty of light for me when I set up =) Labeled "Dome Light"

hmm...Maybe I missed that switch...Gonna try it out in a minute!

Dome light should do it, you can set it to bright or dim.
