Gate Locations in FMC

I have FSDT's FLL, JFK, ORD, and DFW airports, and I'd also like to know which of them would go with my various liveries, like Delta, American, etc.

This site might help you for this http://www.ifly.com/. When entering a airport code drop the K. Dallas Ft Worth would be entered as DFW. Select the airport from the drop down menu. You need to use it along with FlightAware to get the terminal and gate for departure and arrival. Then if you go to ifly you can find terminal maps with the gate location. No coordinates but it might help in text that was quoted.

The gate information is at the end of the airport files, which are all located in the FSX/PMDG/SIDSTARS directory. Many airports do not have any entry for gates. Simply go to the end of the file and add this:

GATES

~

ENDGATES

(~ = the gates you want to add)

An example format is:

GATE 58 N 33 56.39 W 118 24.23

So the above entry would look like:

GATES

GATE 58 N 33 56.39 W 118 24.23

ENDGATES

Slew mode in FSX makes moving from gate to gate easy, and simple. Just keep the Shift-Z info up, and you have a winner. Coordinates are one of piece of info provided within FSX.

I hope this helps.
