The default 737-800 is much improved from FS9 737. I use the Posky 737-800 with the default cockpit.

If one ignores the lack of undercarriage, it's actually quite a nice landing.

Has anyone ever done a upgrade for the default panel?

But what I see is nothing but repaints , I need a full boeing baby. Now don't tell me PMDG out of the question due to budget and current system.

I think the NGX worth it or you kan buy the ifly. Both are good add-ons. Another option, the POSKY (Freesky project) merged with the build-in 737, for better model

There is a download that improves the functionality of the 737's cockpit. There is also a free Honeywell based FMC that you can use to replace the default GPS. I use both. The default B738 is actually one of Microsoft's best default planes in the whole FS series. I fly almost exclusively payware aircraft, but I still get into the MS B738 sometimes to fly Alaska Airlines routes. Other than the issues the downloads linked above fix, I have no gripes with it other than some minor ones, like the flaps extension time (which I've modified), the airfile which could use a bit of fine-tuning, and - unless you bind key commands for them - the fact that you have to switch to the 2D panel to set the N1 limit and autobrakes. It would be nice to see some 4096 sized textures for it, too.

Thank you Treetop, much appreciated

You started out asking about freeware and PMDG was out of your budget Rolling%20Eyes.gifHypnotized.gifShocked.gif
